Welcome to Catholic Youth @ Church of St Francis of Assisi, Singapore
Why we choose the name Catholic Youth?
As diverse as we are, we are still one body in Christ. Catholic Youth is a parish-based identity for all the youths in SFA. By “youths” we meant any single aged from 13 to 35. We invite all youths serving in all ministry to form their weekly community meeting, and at the same time, those not serving in any ministry to join a weekly Catholic Youth Community (CYC) meeting or even form one. A CYC can be formed with only 3 people and limited to 25 max (which will be split into 2 smaller communities).

How to Start a CYC?
Here are a few steps to help you get started:
- Attend one of the weekly CYC and volunteer to help in the planning and in leading one of the sessions (we encourage each session not longer than 1 hour, fellowship that follows has no guideline).
- Gather at least 2 other helpers who are keen in starting CYC.
- Make your intention known to SFA Youth Coordinator (Wayne Toh, email: waynemong@yahoo,com, Hp: 92349120, fb: wayne toh yu shin).
- Attend Catholic Youth Community Facilitators meeting regularly for support.
- It can be done weekly at any home, any of the classroom located at 3rd or 4th storey or Youth Room @ 4th storey (booking in advance is required to avoid clashing with other community meeting).
- Be listed in our CatholicYouth.weebly.com website and update your growth with us.
- Pray to the Holy Spirit for continued guidance and inspiration.

LENT SEASON
During Lent season, there will not be any CYC meetings. Instead, we will participate in the lent programmes with the Parish.

Station of the Cross 24 Feb (Fri 7.30pm-8.30pm)
Youth Lent Sharing 26 Feb (Sun 12.30pm-3pm) @ St Mary's Room, level 3
Station of the Cross 2 Mar (Fri 7.30pm-8.30pm)
Youth Lent Sharing 4 Mar (Sun 12.30pm-3pm) @ St Mary's Room, level 3
Station of the Cross 9 Mar (Fri 7.30pm-8.30pm)
Lent Vigil 10 Mar (9pm-6am) - Pls attend Sat Sunset Mass, then the entire Sunday is for Wholly Sleeping.
Lent Eucharistic Adoration 12 Mar (Mon 8pm-9.30pm evening during March School Holiday)
